I have made an animation, and want to put foreign language susbtitles onto it. I'm working with DVD-lab, and as far as I can tell I would have to shell out 100 bucks or so to upgrade to pro, which I would rather avoid if possible. So I am looking for a workaround.
One idea I had was to make several film clips, each with the subtitle text composed onto the video itself. The drawback to this is that it would not work with the "subtitle" button on the remote and could only be accessed through a setup menu I make.
Does anyone know a more elegant workaround to add multiple subtitles?

This looks like an alternate authoring program.
I would like to find a workaround that allows me to still use DVD-lab. -
dvd-lab studio supports one subtitle track. it costs $35 to upgrade.
