I see alot of DVR are just the recorders, not VHS in them.
Which is better ? the combo units or the ones that require a vcr ?
What I mean by better is for backup/copying your macro'd vhs tapes to dvd.
It also seems most people talk about having cable. I have satillite and just simple basic cable. What I would want to record would be off the sat not the cable. Is that gonna be a problem ? Having a hell of a time hooking up this rt-500-s with the sat.
About ready to return the 500.
thanks

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
