Lately over the last few weeks I have been working with Adobe Encore in conjunction with Photoshop CS in some cases to make a decent menu for the DVD collections I am making from my VHS collections. Pretty much right now most of my menus are very simple with simple backgrounds (or backgrounds taken from a frame pic in the video) and titling and episode lists. Eventually I started adding some audio in my menus too as well. I wanted to see if anyone here have any shots of their own DVD-made menus? It doesnt matter what authoring program you use, I figured if we could share pics of our home-made menus for our DVD collection it could perhaps help others generate ideas on how to improve their menu creation, including my own. I think one of the most important thing I have learned in making a menu is learning about the layers, because I made one completely from scratch in Photoshop, even though it took me several hours to get the concept of what layering was and how it worked, but now I understand much better on how it works. It would be cool to see what everyone else's menus look like .
