    Hello all,

I've just got back from Germany and I bought a DVD of the movie 'Downfall' (aka Der Untergang) but to my horror discovered that it only had German subs. I downloaded a single .srt file and am trying to add it to a downsized version on my HD. I opened it with ffmpegx and was elated that the English subs were there and in sync but I fast forwarded and it stays in sync for about an hour but then looses it completely. I am trying to correct the problem with SubSyncX but I'm just confusing myself. I think that I'm just going to have a play with TitleLAB. Does anybody know a better way to solve my problem? Thanks.

I've found a different version of the .srt file which I've examined in TitleLAB and I think it may sort me out. Can't try anything now though because my desktop Mac has died and the project is on there, I'll have to sort that out first.

  3. If you aren't able to solve the problem by August 2, you'll be able to get the US DVD release on that day...

    Excellent film.
