    I'm keen to buy a Flipdown TV/DVD/RADIO for my kitchen. I've been quoted £899 + VAT by various uk stores. Ebay (CERMANY) have an AUDIOVOX E1020 for sale at £303 inclusuve. Exactly what I want.
    My question is: as it's from Germany will I be able to use it in England ok, or will I have problems with Voltage, DVD Player etc.
    Any help will be gratefully received.

    You will be OK with respect to Voltage. However Germany has PAL B/G system whereas UK has PAL I. Germany uses A2 stereo for sound whereas in UK it is NICAM.
