  1. hi, does anyone know a GOOD converterso you can convert .rm-movies to .mpg-movies? i've tried TINRA and i think it sucks. i've tried to download EO video from its homepage but it just doesn't seem to work. so if anyone of you know a really, really good converter of real-movies to movies so i can play them in Window media player, please tell me.
i really need it because i'm tired of alwas have to connect and shit to see a real-movie. i want some live videos from bands that i like to have on my computer as .mpg-movies and that's why i need it.

please tell me how or which program to use. or even send the progra mto me by adding me on ICQ or MSN.

  2. You can't directly AFAIK. What you can do is convert RM to AVI then convert that to MPEG. The probable reason nobody has tried to write a RM to MPEG converter is both formats are compressed. Getting it to work right would be a tough nut to crack. TRINRA is the best I've found, best when used with the graphical front end. Works on many RM movies, but not all.

  3. thanks, but when i tried to do it with TINRA its just get fucked up. i don't know why but when i have converted the file into .avi its just doesn't work. how do i use TINRA correctly? real-movies is often seen on the web right? do i have to save the file on my computer in order to convert it?
when i've converted it (if it works), how do i convert it into .mpg?

  4. You can find several AVI to MPG encoders on this site. How well TINRA converts RM to AVI is another story. I've had varrying success. When it works, it works well, if it don't the file will just hang during processing. Just checking there is a newer verion released this month.
