I upgraded my Pioneer 109 to the 1.40 firmware and thought that it wnabled -DL burning. System Profiler still only reports +DL burning. Is this beacuse Apple doesn't support -DL yet? Or didn't the 1.40 firmware include this as Pioneer suggests?

Pioneer says the 1.40 firmware supports writing to Verbatim DVD-R DL media. Toast 6.1 claims to support writing to DVD-R DL. I see no mention that Apple is supporting DVD-R DL burning as yet. So if you can find any Verbatim DVD-R DL media you supposedly can use Toast 6.1 to burn to that media with your drive, regardless of what ASP reports.

DVD Studio Pro (I assume that's what is meant by dsp) does not support writing to DVD-R DL unless they added that support in DVDSP 4.
