    Hi! I've been trying to make a SVCD/CVCD from a Divx movie using TMPengc with my K6-400 but the estimated time to complete the conversion was of 30 hours!!Does anybody knows some codec, program or setting to reduce this time??

    Yeah is called the LET_YOUR_PC_KICK_THE_CAN_AND_BUY_SOMETHING_BETTER
    Its takes my pc 3 hours just to do a VCD and I have an Athlon 750

    CVCD takes double as long as VCD, SVCD even more. Since I guess you did not use any filters, there is no other way than getting a faster CPU. You coud also use a faster encoder like LSX, but for best "quality" I suggest to stay with TMPG.
