    Major, I have a valid set of AIFF 48khz files
    I created by exporting out of QT.
    I try to encode them in ffmpegx using the quick .AC3 preset,
    but it just processes fast and says "File format unrecognized."
    No file is produced!
    using ffmpegx 0.09s.

    here is what ffmpegx processes say:

    /Volumes/FCP_MAIN/24/24s4e17.aiff: Unknown format
    Encoding started on Sun May 15 16:49:58 CDT 2005

  3. AIFF is not a supported input format. Convert it to WAV first with Quicktime Player;

    I'll give it a try on one...I got fourteen streams to do if it works. What a time for A.Pack 2 quit working!!
