    It works very well no problems at all that i saw. However forget about dvdbackup.
    G4 gigabit,PL1.35GHz,
    Radeon 9800 Pro 128,1.5GB ram,Pioneer dvr 107D,Running on tiger.

    Only problem with tiger thus far is its inability to read backup movies!!!!!!!!

    I have no problems playing backups. Running Tiger on a DP 1.8 G5 with a Pioneer DVR-106.

  7. Hey Galactica,
    That post is about stand-alone pioneer dvd-recorders. There are no problems (so far) with Mac burned DVDs from Pioneer drives. As you probably know, the stand-alones need to finalize programs recorded in VR mode. Some boxes have problems finalizing discs and there are a select group of apps that play the transport streams on the Mac. Apparently some (ReadDVD) are not playing well with Tiger yet.

    However Galactica reported in that other thread that he was unable to watch his DVD-Rs through Mac DVD player unless he copied the video_ts to the HD first.
