    what are some webdesign software out there to use and what do most of you use or find is most useful?

    Try here: www.coffeecup.com There HTML editor is a both a text based editor and a visual editor. The visual editor allows you to work like you would in Word, it generates the code for you. The main feature though is the text editor which simplifies working with the code which is essential if you want to create truly custom pages.

    There's others that are much better for visual design but for text editing coffeecup is one of the best.
