    I have an .avi file; the audio is AC3, 5 channel. The other files are AC3, 3 channel. Is there a way to change the 5 ch to 3 ch, or vice-versa? All other specs of the files are the same.

    Azid should be able to do a 3 channel downmix. Either by itself or as part of BeSweet or HeadAC3he, which you should be able to use to go straight to AC3.

    Is this for DVD authoring ? If so, author the 5 channel to a different titleset and all will be well.
