When I try to play some WMV files, the colors are in negative, with red and green predominating?
I loaded all the WMV files into AVIcodec and it said they are all supported by my version of WMP9
One video said to be WMV1 or V7 (643kbs) plays fine
two others said to be WMV3 or V9 (266 and 311kbs) play negative.
Strangely the 311Kbs video plays fine with WMclassic player!!!!!!!
As AVI codec says they should play, I must have the right codec, so ???????
Any suggestions to save me tearing out my hair???
Thanks
Ronbruce

Sounds like a codec issue. Just because the codecs are installed on your pc, doesn't mean that they are working properly. They could not be registered, registered improperly, or just corrupt. I would try re-installing the proper codec.
