i have a .img file and it is PAL is it possible to burn the .img then extract the vob's on my hd and make it region freee??? is this posible?

  2. Pal is not a "Region",You file I would say is already Region free if already Riped onto the Hard-drive. You want to play a Pal DVD in a NTSC DVD Player? You will need to Convert. Just search the forum for "Pal to NTSC".

You <COULD> burn it then extract the VOBs, but it'd probably be easier/quicker to just extract the VOBs from the IMG file. IsoBuster should be able to help you out with this.
    If in doubt, Google it.

...or mount the img with daemon tools, and copy the VOBs just like any other file.
