Burn plays in PC, nowhere else

What might cause a problem like this?

All of a sudden, discs I burn on my PC will play on either of my PC's DVD drives, but not in any of the four standalone DVD players I have in my home. Some recognize the disc as a DVD but don't begin playing it, while others just hang up and eventually spit out the "incompatible" disc.

I've used two different brands and two different formats (DVD-R, DVD+RW) and get the same results (or lack thereof). I get this problem burning .iso files and .mpg files with either DVD Decrypter or Ulead MovieFactory 3. I've changed nothing on my computer recently... no upgrades or firmware changes.

The Sony drive's read/write test diagnostic problem says all is well.

Try DVDinfopro to check for errors on the disc.
