While skipping from one chapter to the next repeatedly, the TV screen went completely blank. Even when I switched off and restarted the DVP the screen continued to be completely blank. The blue screen that usually appears when the unit is switched on did not appear.
The audio output connected to my CD player is working fine . I can hear the movies but not see them.
I am not able to navigate the setup menu as the screen is completely blank.
Can anybody please help !

If that unit has multiple video outputs...try a different format. For example, the DVP642 has S-Video, composite, and RGB. When the unit is setup in progressive scan mode...only the RGB outputs function.
