  1. i'm currently editing video with ulead video studio 8 and i love how easy it is and how it has so many transitions but its abilities are limited, you can't cut the audio like you can the video and you can't zoom in on the videos. can you reccomend a better software please. i was looking for something that could zoom, cut audio, change the audio level throughout one track easily(i think adobe's video editor does that), add some kinda clip art(for istance you could add and arrow with some words under it or a thought bubble).

Premiere will allow you 99 video and 99 audio tracks. You can overlay video and add effects that way. Will also allow you to change audio levels and fades pan right or left.

Vegas can do unlimited (or limited by memory and resources, anyway) video and audio, and has far superior audio editing capabilities to Premiere (especially if you get the AC3 plugin as well).

How much money do you want to spend ? If you are looking price wise at comperable software, then Vegas Movie Studio (?) is the cut down version and more int he Video Studio proce range. Adobe also has Premiere Elements, but it is limited to DV work and possibly too cut-down for your needs.

EditStudio can do unlimited layers. You can zoom WAY down (too far for me), mix audio, view waveforms, and set the volume using a rubber-band audio guide. They have also said the more audio processing is being added to the next version (you are in the free upgrade window now).

You could do the clipart you want by importing a PNG or GIF (EditStudio supports transparency) and resize and place it from within the program. You just need to get the clipart (easy to do).
