With so many programs I would like to run now requiring XP I'm at the point of swallowing my pride and paying Bill Gate's for yet another OS. But I have a couple of questions.

Does the home edition support NTFS file system?
Any reall advantage to using the Professional version over the Home version.
Is there way around the online registration?

Yes, All versions of XP support NTFS.

Professional has some networking advantages, as well you can also connect to it via remote desktop.

If you don't have an internet connection you can register by phone.

Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.
