  1. Can someone please help.

I have converted two versions of the same film, and another film using tmpenc, which I always use with no trouble until now.

All three of the films are ok when watched in avi but when converted to the same spec as they were they flicker all the way through.

I have also tried them in both ntsc and pal with the same results, I have run out of ideas.

  2. Describe the flicker and provide your source and end product specs. NTSC/PAL, VCD/DVD etc.

Would it be possible to post a GSpot or AVICodec screendump of the files in question ?

Maybe also elaborate on the settings / template used in TMPGEnc ?

I can't see your screen from here
    If in doubt, Google it.

  4. The flickering is like watching an old chaplin movie.

As I said I have tried all three settings 2 ntsc and pal to see if anything would word

When you post a new message you will see the "Image or File" box at the bottom of the screen. Browse and select your file. Hit the URL button, type the file name and hit the URL button again.
