  1. I'm a newbie and was using dvd shrink and dvd decrypter for a little while now to copy one to one. I wanted to start copying 2 dvd's to one DL DVD. I looked through the forum and think I found what I was looking for. I will try DVD Remake Pro to copy to one DL dvd with both menus intact and hope I do it right, thanks to all the posts and discussion as to the best way for that. It's the first time I looked through the forum for something without just asking a question that was already answered 50 times.
    thanks [color=red]

    Good luck with that

DVD Remake Pro is very good for merging two DVD5s onto a DL DVD, while retaining functional menus, although it should be mentioned that this method is not guaranteed to work across all DVDs. There's allegedly a few DVD5s that have menu structures a little to complex to allow this sort of action.

Hopefully you won't experience that ...
    If in doubt, Google it.

Do you know such disks? We would surelly investigate them then.

But you are right in a sense that some disks may not be compatible to put together. In this case DvdReMake Pro will show a warning and it will be up to the user to decide whether he/she wants to merge disks and do manual "tweaking" himself.

I did say "allegedly" I myself haven't encountered any, but I'm thinking any disc that has a complex menu structure, are we not ? I personally have only used your software twice to merge homemade jobs, with very, very basic menus - just passing on the rumour that I read somewhere, that's all
    If in doubt, Google it.

  5. Merge procedure in DvdReMake Pro is quite smart and whether disks can be merged or not does not depend on menus complexity. Only on streams compatibility (video/audio/subs) to satisfy DVD specs.
