    what do you think is a good dvd/vcd player that plays cdrs? or, what dvd/vcd player do you have and how much did it cost? thanks for the help, sorry if this was previously asked, and since there are 1000 or so dvd players listed I'd rather get the info from you guys than compare them all. thanks again.

    After a few tests on machines,(clairtone,rca5240p) I finally stuck with the Hitachi DVP415U..plays everything I throw at it. ALSO plays mpegs burned directly on a Cursor 700 meg CDRW (futureshop brand made by gigastorage), I tried numerous cdrws, and this is the only one that will work that I found


    Plays SVCDS/VCDS/XVCDS/XSVCDS/MP3S/MPEGS/SEVCDS painlessly..


    and at a really good price

    Just got a Pioneer DV-340 at WallyMart for $139 and is just great unit for the price..
    Plays VCDs real well and that's a big plus for me.
