Was wondering if you can make DVD copies using a burned DVD copy? Will you lose any quality? If so what program?

I'm with steve ....
if it's burned, then the only issue you might have is if it's on a DL DVD and you want it on a SL DVD, which is where DVDShrink comes in. If not, DVDDecrypter's ISO Read / ISO Write combination is the way to go IMO.If in doubt, Google it. -
Yes. Exactly 2.3% quality loss with each generation.Originally Posted by pantherman85If God had intended us not to masturbate he would've made our arms shorter.

Are you serious about this? There is a quality loss. How do you know its 2.3% and why is there any quality loss at all?Originally Posted by Shocker Milwaukee

No, he's not serious.
Unless it's a -R burnt right to the rim in which case it won't fit on a +R (a really small size discrepancy between the two which most people never notice), you can just copy one disc to another unless the original backup - now there's an oxymoron - is a dual layer and you're trying to put it on a single. -
It depends upon what you're talking about in making a copy of the backup. When we would make a VHS (of 8mm, Hi8, beta or any analog) copy, there would be a noticable generation loss with each copy. When you are dealing with digital media, then you do not have such a generational degradation. The copy is the same as the original. If you are talking about processing the data in some manner, such as compressing, then there will be a loss of quality in the processing. But doing a copy without any type of processing will be the same as the original (assuming that there are no minor read/write errors).
