    To all the experts out there :P I have a Pannye80 but always had regular cable. recently I got digital cable and somehow I can't go beyond channel 125 via the Panny although it's connected to my digital cable box . Is there anything I can do to fix this or this is it??

    I don't have digital cable but I assume that your cable box is sending an analog signal to the Panny and that's what you are tuning. The Panny, or any other DVD recorder, can not tune digital cable.

    To get the digital channels you'll need to tune using the cable box. You'll need to hook up the cable box to the Panny using the video outputs.
