I need to scan Legal-sized documents into a computer attach to a HP PSC 950. The scan bed is not long enough for the Legal-size sheets. Has there a program, that I can scan one end of the page, flip it over, scan the other side, and have the computer automatically attach the two sides together? I can do this manually but it would take a lot of time. If it could be automated it would help. There is some part in the document where it overlap so it can be mathced up.

It know this is probaly a "out there" kind of question, but if you have an answer it is appreciated.

    Thank You!

Thanks. I'll have to try it out. If it works, it will save me time from having to go to Kinkos to copy and fax the Legal documents!

You don't need a copy to fax it unless it's the backside, and it'll be easier to just make a copy of it if that's the case. The fax itself won't eat your documents.

Otherwise if they're B&W documents FedEx Kinko's (as we're called now) has the ability to scan legal-size documents to PDF. Our district charges a quarter a page, I don't think other branches are so kind about it though.

I see what you're saying. What I meant was that I sometimes need to copy and sometime need to fax a document. I had to scan the document into the computer because the Legal size won't completely fit onto my scan bed. To put the 2 end together, I need to stick them together.
