...requires only one minute to recharge 80 percent of its capacity...
... it loses only one percent of its capacity each 1,000 times it is recharged and discharged.
And I mispelled the thread topic. Can someone correct that for me? I do that sometimes...

  3. Have you tried searching the internet for a free spell checker for your browser. I'd be lost without one.

Sounds nice. But the article doesn't mention whether the length of usage has improved as well. Even if a 4-hour battery can be recharged quicker and last longer, it's still a 4-hour battery.

  5. I read somewhere (believe slashdot) that alot of people were very displeased with these newer batteries.

I believe it / they said the batteries did charge quicker, but also had a tendency to discharge even quicker then normal batteries of the same capasity <-hows that for spelling? :P

  6. I believe new battery technology will be developing slower in the coming years, shouldnt expect another big leap like the one the Lithium batts gave us (both capacity and lifespan and wEight). I believe the bigger improvements will most likely come in the form of fuelcells using for example methan-alcohol to generate power. Nokia started working on it in August2004 i think, but has as of now cancelled the program. Toshiba and a some others continue their fuelcell programs, and Nokia is keeping that door open for when the technology matures more.

  8. If they put exhaust pipes i like laptop with Yashimura 4-to-1 and aluminium finish silencer.
I dont think theres a combustion, LoL, but there will be a device exposing the metan-alcohol to air in some way. All i know about it i read in a non-technical article in a newspaper, could very well be very wrong.
