DVDShrink Removing WideScreen NO SHOW on TV

This has happened a few times and I really dont get it. For instance, on Men In Black, you'll see a full screen and widescreen come up when you are done analyzing the dvd. In place of the fullscreen I put in a still image, and burn the movie. WHen I pop it in my "Pioneer 343" I believe it is, it shows it as FULLSCREEN, and will not play it as a widescreen? How is this possible?

I took it over my friends tonight and he has a sony dvd player and it shows up as widescreen fine. Ive never seen anything like this? I own a Sony wega 36 inch tv. Could that be the issue? or the pioneer dvd player?

Is it playing as fullscreen or are you seeing the anamorphic stretch ?

Try doing just movie only, and dragging just the widescreen version over in reauthor mode.

I have no idea about that stretch. I just see it as fullscreen. Though its playing as a widescreen on my friends TV...so who knows.


It cant be how I author it, etc...cuz like i said, it works fine on his tv. Its gotta be my dvd player or TV?

Did you check your settings on your dvd player?
Any other movies doing this to you? Maybe the zoom button on your remote is stuck .Cant hurt to check
