Basically, I'm having problems with Media player, any video above the 352 x 288 resolution in full screen (Any format, mpg, avi, wmv etc.) shows small horizontal lines, and it kind of ruins the video a bit, I'm 100% sure they aren't video artifacts, because in VLC or something they play fine.
Can anyone please help me? Thanks :-*

have you installed any codec packs? uninstall them.

its just the default codecs, My MPEG2 plays fine, anything divx/wmv etc doesnt :<, its just the standards windows codecs

To continue what baldrick said ... load only the codecs you require. Dont load codec packs.
Use Media Player Classic, instead.When I was born I was so shocked that I could'nt speak for 18 months.
