there was a program on recently (Trevor McDonald's 30 min news show) about a diet that contained types of foods that kept you feeling full for longer

any ideas what type of food it was as I wanted to tell a few friends about it but can't remember the name!

from what I understand, high-fiber foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains and beans tend to make you feel full longer whereas meat, chicken, dairy products and most bakery products are low in fiber which encourages people to eat too much.

cheers webster . There was a name I couldn't recall but I found out that the program was Tonight with Trevor McDonald and soon found the program I was trying to recall. It was the glycemic index (GI) diet program I had seen

  4. You know that celery has a negative calorie content? It takes more energy to chew it and move the fibre it contains through the gut than you get from digesting it.

Shame it doesn't taste like steak or chocolate.

why can't some whizz mess on with the cell structure so that it does taste like chocolate?

or haven't they already done that with a different taste or was it that they made something smell different?
