I've done my googles, and couldn't find danything - so I thought this was the appropriate place to ask.

'cells with IR and symbian or similar OS'es, have gotten pretty standard and useful these days. Now - whatI'm looking for, or suggestin for the creative programmer, is something like this:

Palm and other PDA's have been pretty much the dvd hacker's tool of choice the last years. Why shouldn't cellular phones with decent IR-modules, like for instance the Nokia 7650, be fully capable of pulling this off, too?

I figure pretty much anyone that have played around with a symbian phone, have come over IRremote at some point of time. This tool is pretty much your universal IR remote. Is there, or does anyone have an idea, how to make a tool to perform region/macro hacks with this kind of phone?
