  1. Can anyone confirm that Walmart gives 90 days to return DVD Recorders? I just called, and she told me I had 90 days, but just make sure I bring the receipt, box and all the stuff that came in the box. No problem, except I used the DVD-RW included but I can erase that, but no wrapper .

I'm going to return this thing and get me a 520 This should serve me well until the XP+, DL line comes out.

which is why I didn't use any of the FUJI discs that came with the 220, just in case i decide to return it. when i placed my order i asked about the return policy and was told 90 days. i also went into my local wally world and customer service told me the same thing. with regard to you using the dvd-rw disc they should take back the 220 unit. i seriously don't think you'll have a problem returning the unit as long as you have the receipt and original box.

Yes. I bought and iLO HD04 and a Pioneer 220 and returned them both. The iLO I kept for 89 days applying the latest firmware that never seemed to work properly.

Wal-Mart was very good about their returns.

I bought LiteOn 1633 DVD burner for PC in December 04 in Walmart. The CD burning part of the drive died three days after 90 days exchange/return period expired. But I decided to give it a try. I put everything back in the box and went back to Walmart. And they took it back!

Hmmm...weird. I checked for TVs and (at least here in town) it's 1 year over the counter return or replacement! Can't get much better than that!
