Have been trying different means/software to author and burn DVDs. I can get a nice, high quality images using a combination of ProCoder and NERO. But the DVDs can not be played at any speed above 1X on most players (fine on computers). If you press the picture search button on the remote, the picture freezes and the audio keeps playing. I have saved the files as MPEGS, and also VOBs. Same results.

I also have ROXIO Media Creator 7 and it does a fantastic job of burning DVDs that play at any speed, but the quality is lacking. ROXIO seems to deinterlace or some sort of recoding that degrades the image.

My current method has been a quick solution to master some one hour programs I'm working on, but seems kind of ridiculous to tell clients they won't be able to Picture Search, FF or RW.

I most recently tried GEAR PRO to burn, DVDs looks great, but have same issue.

Has anyone else encountered this or know of a solution/workaround? Thanks in advance!
