    I just realised how damn stupid i am
    Theres me, busily converting everything to PAL format, when all along i can play NTSC through the TV.
    Dammit - there should be a law against people like me.
    Lol, i hope i've cheered a few people up anyways

    /me goes back to beat some sense into his head, by running at high speed and using a brick wall as a brake.

    I did the conversion thing too. I knew I couldn't play pal dvds, so I thought I couldn't play the vcds/mpegs either. Live and learn.
