  1. I have been cutting together a video using footage from Sin City. I managed to find the first trailer, but I am having trouble finding the second trailer in the correct size. On the apple trailer website for the movie (http://www.apple.com/trailers/miramax/sin_city/) has the video i would like, however, it is streaming. Is there any way I can get download this and get it into my Premiere?

    Thanks in advance!

Configure your Quicktime plugin so that it always caches the video. Then, after it has loaded in your web browser, you should be able to find a local copy in your cache. If you can't find it, just search your drive for *.mov files. You should be able to locate it from the resulting list pretty easily.

  3. I tried it with IE and all it had in the cache was the 256 kb file that streams it. And in firefox it is the same thing. I do have the setting enabled to retain the video in my browsers cache, but it does not seem to be working. I also did a search on my HDD for *.mov and it returned many results, none of which were the file in question. Do you have any other suggestions?

I'm behind a firewall at work, so I can't see the video at all, but this should be the URL to the actual .mov file on apple's website. I assume you're talking about the large version of trailer #2. If not, let me know.

  7. your help is very appreciated! let me know if you can get that bugger. The only thing I can think of that would prevent it from downloading would be that i don't actually use quicktime, i have been using quicktime alternative....
