  1. I just bought a new Sanyo DVD player at Walmart because my older Sony stopped playing burned cdr's. This new one will play them, but some are black and white...even though the same cdr plays in color on my pc.

    Suggestions?

My JVC XV-N44 plays all my MP3's, and shows long file names. It plays all my SVCD's and CVD's flawlessly, and does 8X forward and reverse. It will not play a mini-DVD. New ones can be found on e-Bay for under $70. shipped.

Are these VCD's? Sounds like a PAL/NTSC issue.

  4. I've got a Wally World Apex AD-1110W DVD Player and it damn near plays everything I've thrown at it....exp in the cdr realm.

And unlike 'others' mine hasn't had any problems with laser burn out etc, with very heavy usage and about 2-3 years of life, the 30 buck investment was well worth it!
