Removing menu buttons?

I want to remove a menu button so it is impossible to select it. I've tried using MenuEdit, but it just screwed up the whole menu; when the DVD would start, it would quickly scroll through each menu and start the movie. Sometimes it would just get stuck at some menu.

Anyways, what other ways are there to remove a button?
