Recently Nero has started to produce DVD's that freeze up after the opening screens.
An example is Saw. After the opening Lion's Gate logo, when it tries to access the menu, it freezes every DVD player i've tried. Players that have previously had no problem with other DVD's i've produced using Nero the exact same way.
Here's the kicker...
After trying updated versions of Nero, i decided to go back to good ol DVD Shrink. With DVD Shrink, working in ISO mode and then burned to a DVD using DVD Decrypter, it's a complete success. Same original Rip and same Media (two different ones actually, both had the same problem, both now work).
Anyone know why Nero is producing broken DVD's, as far as structure goes?(played in an XBOX or on PC they work fine.)
INFO: I'm using the newest version of Nero, working in DVD Folder mode and then burning the folder with Nero.
