I have been a Sonic Foundry / Sony Digital Media user for years, but the latest version of DVD Architect does not yet support Double/Dual Layer authoring yet. I can't find an update or way to make it do it, if anyone knows how to do this I would be greatly appreciative.
In any case, I just purchased Abode Encore DVD 1.5 because I knew it supported Double/Dual layer.
I have not received the program in the mail yet, but I wanted to know if anyone has used video files created, edited, and encoded with Vegas 5 in Encore DVD 1.5.
My main concern is if Encore will recognize the chapter points I have encoded in my MPEG file in Vegas. I have an almost 3 hour video with more chapter points than I would want to go back in and manually flag out again in Encore. DVD architect would automatically recognize all my markets placed in Vegas as chapter points. Vegas & DVD Architect are both Sony products, and Encore is Adobe.
Thanks for any help!
