    I got an img file which contains a movie. When I start the img file with VLC Player it plays itself like a dvd movie with a menu etc.
    My question is: I want to burn this 4.3 Gigabyte large img file to a dvd so I can watch it with my dvd player. What do I have to do?

    dvddecrypter, mode->file->write.
    is it too big shrink it with dvd shrink.

    The IMG file is not on dvd it is on my hard disk.

    dvddecrypter, mode->file->write and open the img file and burn.

    so when It's finished burning, I can view the dvd with my dvdplayer on my television?

    I didn't think Decrypter had a file-write mode. Where is it? All I can find is ISO write.

    Do I have to convert the IMG file to a VOB file before burning so that I can play the burned dvd with my dvd player?

    nope, just open the img and burn. and i mean mode->iso->write.

    just rename the .img to .iso,any prog will then pick it up

    I didn't know if this was kosher when I did it a while back on a hunch, but it turned out it worked.
