    I am capturing DV with a Firewire card and was wondering if I could use VirtualDub to do it. I can't seem to make it capture with my Firewire card. And also, how do I overcome the 4 gb limit for captured files? I know VirtualDub can automatically split files but like I said before... I can't get it to capture with my Firewire card...

    The program you're looking for is called DVIO. It allows you to capture in either Type 1 or 2 DV format.
