Hi,
I purchased a canon camcorder model ZR65 in the USA, I live in Europe.
When I Shoot home videos and upload them to PC they are in NTSC Mode, my burning software is nero 6, and this will allow you to do the burning in PAL mode but the final result is not any different than the original NTSC video, it still plays back the same. My question being, is there an application or program that will convert the video file to "true" PAL mode before I get Nero to burn it to disc, or is this not possible, i know my DVD player will convert ntsc to pal mode but the result is still a bit jerky, and my tv has a ntsc to pal converter built in too, but it never getrs a totally true pal playback mode. I know most people are happy to watch ntcc material on a pal tv, but to the fussy eye like mine! you do notice to dlight jerkiness in the picture, am i going over the top on this one.!
Many thanks in advance,
Dosie

Canopus Procoder will re-encode to PAL nicely. The express version is $59 US.
There are other ways, as posted in the guides, and in the "Advanced Conversion" forum.Cheers, Jim
