I've a rather large Frank Sinatra recording collection; (ALMOST everything that he ever commercially recorded, and then some)- I've been wondering if it's possible to create a DVD audio disc, so I can put ALL of the Sinatra Collection onto ONE DVD.

IF so, umm.. how would I go about doing this? Is there software available that will enable a project such as this to be accomplished ? (Any Freeware ?)

    Any advice ? Thanks !

There are a couple of guides or so on how to do this.

    Look in the guides section.

Thanks - for reminding me to look in the Guide section in the first place.. I found the perfect guide and am now in the process of creating my SINATRA audio dvd.. although, with the huge number of albums that Frank's recorded over his lengthy career.. I suspect that this project will take a few weeks to complete..But it'll be worth it !~

    Thanks again !

Another one wanting freeware. Has a huge collection of Frank, but won't spend the money on the right piece of software. In order to get that vinyl on DVD, the correct way, you will need both hardware and software. For around $200.00 you can be on your way to making this happen. But last time I looked I didn't see free "hardware" available for download. And I doubt that you can get "the whole collection" at a quality you demand on one DVD. Do the math.

Yes; it's taken years and money to gather this Sinatra collection together.. however; IF this project can be accomplished WITHOUT spending more money..that's a big plus in my book.

Since I already have the ability to rip my cd's and vinyl, then convert the cda files (from the cd's) into WAV files, plus I have TmpgEnc Plus.. AND TmpgEnc DVD Author; IF I follow the guide that I found on here on VideoHelp..this project SHOULD be a snap !

I see no need to BUY any other software, OR hardware IF I can finish this project without them.

  7. www.cdwave.com + www.discwelder.com + a good soundcard is all you need to make DVD-AUDIO.*
Capture/convert with cdwave at 48KHz/24bit,author and enjoy the "Chairman of the board" all day long.

*You must have a player that supports DVD-AUDIO.
