Changing the audiostream

it sounds so simple: i just want to exchange the existent audiostream in an avi-file to another audio stream (french to german); the stream is in mp3

You can make an .ogm or .mkv with VirtualdubMOD and have multiple switchable streams. Just load your avi file and set video to direct stream, then go to audio and add your audio files then save as any of those containers aforementioned. You might need Morgan Stream Switcher to switch the stream on the fly while previewing.
