I'd rather get it here:
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=22-144-359&depa=0His name was MackemX
What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend? -
Not sure if it's a misprint (could possibly be), but while only $1 cheaper, the first link shows a 5yr MFR warranty vs 3 at Newegg. If they're both actually the same warranty, I'd definitely go with Newegg.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore. -
another reason to go with newegg, free shipping. i just checked that first link and shipping was $11.

I'd pay $10 for 2 more years of warranty coverage.

I wonder if that new fangled NCQ can compensate for the relatively high average seek time...
Your base? Well, they belong to me now... -
WD 300GB is 8.9ms, Seagate is 8ms. But this drive also has 16MB cache. That should make up for it for during a day's work. They're large capacity drives with four platters most likely, 'high' seek times are the norm at present.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.
