Any stand alone recorders (besides the Pioneer 520) that you can copy a DVD-r on including menus? I tried using this feature on the Pioneer 520 and for some reason it refuses most homemade DVD-r's I try and copy.

Don't use the One-touch-copy button on the Pioneer to make duplicates of your DVDs. Instead, use the disc back-up feature. In the Home menu, choose Copy, then choose Disc Back-up.
The Pioneer will make a bit-for-bit copy to the hard drive (as a disc image that cannot be played from the HDD). When it's finished you then replace the original DVD with a blank disc to make your duplicate DVD. -
Thanks Frobozz. It seems the Pioneer recorders may be the only stand alone recorders with this feature.
Anyone know of another?
