  1. I booked a wedding for July and need a projector to display a photo montage during their reception. How does the audio hook up to these things? I'm sure they have jacks of some sort, but don't know what kind or what kind of audio system to look for...any advice?

Bring a stereo receiver and BIG speakers.

  3. I'm really hoping they have a DJ that I can plug directly into and use his system for the audio, but was making sure I have options....although they don't sound good

A friend of mine used to DJ with just a standard Stereo Receiver and 4 large speakers (not surround just had 2 pairs of Stereo speakers hooked up to the same reciever) so that can work unless the place is like HUGE.

One time I even brought my reciever and used it in the back with another pair of Stereo speakers for a total of 6 speakers.

Yeah, it really does depend on the size of the reception party. For mine (Vegas, baby!), we could have used desktop speakers

Even if the DJ will let you hook up, you may need some adapters (if he doesn't have them). Preparation is the key.
