I've been trying to capture from TV a show that contains Closed Caption but just can't make the CC to show in the MPEG-2 file. I tried AVI AIW 8500DV and WinFast 2000XP cards but no success.

Does anybody know how to capture in MPEG-2 so I can make DVDs of my TV shows maintaining CC on the screen?

    Thanks!

  2. One way around it, is to cap on a VCR with the CC, then cap that to your computer.
The other way is to find a capture card that definitely supports CC capturing.

Thanks, but I don't see your point on capturing to a VCR first. All I can think of at this point is either connecting an external CC decoder and "burn" it permanently while capturing or using a home DVD recorder.
