Does anyone like playing online 8-ball, 9-ball, or snooker?

I stumpled across this website and find I'm now addicted to it.

The proper term is sharp but people say shark also. At Billiard tournaments they call it sharp. I don't have the patience to go looking for a reference link so just take my word for it.

I think there may be a difference between the two.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore. -

Watch some snooker championships on tv sometime. The pro's call it sharp. (I will not bow down!) :P
Here's the most research I'm willing to do on the subject for now:

It does not surprise me that shark beat sharp in google, but BJ your numbers are off because of the 's' at the end of sharp. These are the actual numbers.

Look, I don't care if you call it sharp or shark. I'm just interested in if anyone would like to play.

I play but not online. The local billiard hall I go to is one of the last indoor places I can smoke a cigar.

I used to play a lot of pool. Never heard the sharp term. Maybe its regional. Maybe it is an antique term from which "shark" arose. Much in the same way the dice game "Craps" arose from "Crabs".
