    ya i have a dvd's .vob files but i dunt know what format it is (ntsc/Pal)
    and i dont want to waste a dvd-r if its pal.. so is there ne way i can check what format it is? thnx

    Test it with avicodec, 25 fps = pal, 29.97 = ntsc.

  4. or, open the VOBs in PowerDVD 5, choose configuration and then information - that will say NTSC or PAL!

  5. A lot of standalone DVD players will actually tell you on the display, too.
