  1. I am having a problem with burning Video.

After I create the VOB files I have played them on the computer ( before burning them) to check quality. They are smooth without any artifacts.

Problem is after I burn them to the DVD I get video and sound problems ( artifacts and pauses in both sound and video) every 5-10 seconds throught the video. I have tried burning without compression and still get the problem.

I have tried playing the DVDs on 3 different brands of DVD players (none of which has had problems in the past with the media I am using). And played the dvds on 2 seperate computers. When playing one of my attempts on each computer/dvd player the artifacts/pauses are in the same spots, but the problem spots differ between each burn.

    Software used to burn:
    DVD Decryptor
    intervideo DVDcopy 2
    TMPGNC Author
    Plextor Tools

    Media
    Imation DVD-r
    TDK DVD-rw
    TDK DVD+r

    System
    AMD 64 3500+
1 Gig memory (dual channel) 3200

  3. Okay what about the media?

I looked up the media on this site and nobody had posted any problems with it. Is there a better place to look up media? No offense but just stating media does not help me a whole lot.
