    Hello, does anyone know what region code the Philips DVDR 75 records in?
    I want to make sure that someone in the UK can play it.

    DVD Recorders "record" region free. I'm assuming you are in the U.S. and want to send your DVD to the U.K.?
    Just send it. European DVD players are MUCH more tolerant of NTSC DVD's than U.S. players are of PAL DVD's.

    Hey can you let me know if by any chance you know if this burner can be set up to somehow burn a DVD image from a computer? I have g4 laptop and a pc. Anyway to hook it up so I can save the image and use this stand alone burner to burn it?

    The only way to do it is via a "video" connection from your laptop to your recorder...whether it be firewire, s-video or RCA connections....and even then....a definate maybe...
    Depends on the computer's output mostly.
